As a Psychologist, Arlene has worked in a number of clinical settings, including juvenile and adult correctional facilities, counseling centers, and in private practice. Arlene’s areas of expertise include child and family therapy, as well as working with adults who present with substance abuse, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and other serious mental health issues. As a Professor, Arlene has taught a wide range of Behavioral Science courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in traditional classroom settings and online. As a Certified Strategic Life Coach and Certified Anger Management Specialist, She has encouraged and counseled clients on a range of professional and personal issues, while providing them with the support and guidance needed for transformation.
Arlene is a multi-skilled, client-centered helping practitioner and educator who has experience working with a wide range of individuals. She is committed to helping her clients and students identify the obstacles that keep getting in their way, assisting them with finding motivation, and pinpointing any resistance to change. Above all, Arlene is devoted to helping clients move to a richer place of insight, responsibility, and interpersonal health.
