Guided by compassion, integrity, and multicultural respect, I take a collaborative approach rooted in unconditional acceptance. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, supporting both neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue meaningful change.
I am especially passionate about helping individuals who feel ready to make positive changes in their lives, including those working toward recovery from alcohol and substance use concerns. I strive to walk alongside clients on their journey of growth, offering encouragement, practical support, and a non-judgmental space to explore new possibilities.
My journey into psychotherapy grew from the belief that healing extends beyond physical health to include the wounded psyche. I recognize how unprocessed emotions can manifest in the body and impact overall well-being. Having experienced the transformative power of self-discovery in my own growth, I strive to model and inspire that same possibility for others. I am deeply interested in understanding emotions and helping clients develop greater emotional awareness. In particular, I enjoy supporting individuals in exploring and managing anger in healthy, constructive ways, viewing anger not as a problem to eliminate, but as an emotion that can provide valuable insight when understood and expressed effectively.
I also enjoy working with couples and families, helping strengthen relationships, improve communication, and navigate challenges that arise within family systems. Whether supporting parents and their children or assisting couples in developing deeper connection and understanding, I aim to create a space where each person’s voice can be heard.
In my individual work, I have a special interest in supporting women who have experienced trauma. Through a gentle, trauma-informed approach, I help clients cultivate safety, resilience, self-compassion, and empowerment as they move toward healing at their own pace.
I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring each session to individual needs. Above all, I strive to provide a safe, supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey.
